Description
Seafarers face unique working conditions, this includes hazadous tasks, long working hours, high level of stress and they are away from family and friends for a very long period of time. Therefore the seafarers are more vulerable to mental health problems.
This course aims is to raise awareness of mental health issues and know the impact it has on individuals. The trainee should be able to recognise signs of mental health problems and be better suited to having conversation with others around mental health problems.
