Description
Emergencies can happen at any time on board, the key to ensuring safe operations in an emergency is to be well rehearsed and ensure the passengers are kept safe. The course covers the identification of stress, emergency procedures, communications with passengers and crew in an emergency and crowd control methods. The STCW code (section A-V/2, paragraph 4) states that any person with responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships shall complete Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training in accordance with their capacity, duties and responsibilities.
This course is:
- intended for Masters, Chief Mates, Chief Engineer Officers, Second Engineer Officers and any person having responsibility of passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships
- compliant with STCW Regulation V/2, paragraph 8 & section A-V/2, paragraph 4.
- is approved by the Republic of Liberia.
