[STCW] Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training Course (MCA)

Description

Emergencies can happen at any time on board, the key to ensuring safe operations in an emergency is to be well rehearsed and ensure the passengers are kept safe. The course covers the identification of stress, emergency procedures, communications with passengers and crew in an emergency and crowd control methods. The STCW code (section A-V/2, paragraph 4) states that any person with responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships shall complete Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training in accordance with their capacity, duties and responsibilities.

This course is:

• intended for Masters, Chief Mates, Chief Engineer Officers, Second Engineer Officers and any person having responsibility of passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships
• compliant with STCW Regulation V/2, paragraph 8 & section A-V/2, paragraph 4.

This course is divided into two parts. The learning part may be completed online from any location. The assessment part must be completed under direct supervision at a Marlins Approved Test Centre*

On completion of this course you will receive a Certificate of Proficiency from Ocean Technologies Group, powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel.
