Description

STCW Security Duties, also known as PDSD, is intended for crew working on board cruise vessels who have designated security duties.

It is intended to give you the required knowledge to enhance maritime security awareness by recognising security threats, and understanding the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance.

This training satisfies the requirements of Regulation VI/6 paragraph 4 and Section A-VI/6 paragraphs 6-8 of the STCW Convention and Code 1978, as amended and incorporates Proficiency for Security Awareness laid down in Regulation VI/6 and Section A-VI/6 of the STCW Convention and Code.

WARNING - PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING THIS COURSE

You will not be able to sit the assessment straight after completing this course. At the end of this course you will be given a 'verification of training' report.

You must take this to a Marlins Approved Test Centre to take the assessment under exam conditions.

You will need to pay a separate fee to the Approved Test Centre to take the assessment.
