Description

Working as a seafarer is a challenging job. The risks of experiencing a work-related injury are high, while life at sea makes it difficult to get treatment. That’s why preventative exercises that help avoid injury caused by the physical demands and repetitive nature of work as a seafarer are key.

In this module The Seafarers Hospital Society have put together exercises that are easy to perform in a confined space. They are designed for general mobility and the prevention of injury due to repetition, and do not require any specialised equipment.

A trained physiotherapist demonstrates and explains the value of the exercises.
