Description
This course, also known as PSA, is intended for seafarers working on board vessels who do not have designated security duties.
It is intended to give you the required knowledge to enhance maritime security awareness by recognising security threats, and understanding the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance.
This training satisfies the requirements of Regulation VI/6 paragraph 1 and Section A-VI/6 paragraph 4 of the STCW Convention and Code 1978, as amended.

You will not be able to sit the assessment straight after completing this course. At the end of this course you will be given a 'verification of training' document.
You must take this to a Marlins Approved Test Centre to take the assessment under exam conditions.
You will need to pay a separate fee to the Approved Test Centre to take the assessment.
